We took a re-write of the Dead's song Fire on the Mountain, re-write meaning I used the chorus but wrote all new verses, using fuzz guitar, bass, keyboard, percussion & vocals... adding vocals on a track of their own finally & turning down the racket during... mostly.

A photograph seems like it's stealing from the past
but even it is here with us to make us laugh
there are no events only thoughts inside a head
that keep us occupied with past and future tense
so we will miss the present deep and rich and free
trade it for something like a string of plastic beads

Electrons spin and sing and dance in every eye
and photons join the song and light up every sky
vibrating strings at heart make music of the spheres
beyond the farthest reach the quasars disappear
and witnesses arrive who marvel that it is
to testify that what we see and know is bliss
