though Labor was compromised, coopted and suckered into supporting the capitalist status quo, it did have a positive impact on working people's lives... could have been way better had the "radicals" not been ignored and weeded out but, better 'n nothin. Meany and company, out on the golf course rubbing elbows with the owners, a sad sight, esp. as they supported anti-union activities in the third world - such is the struggle, small victories, big defeats... until extinction or .... one day.

course this has little to do with the jam ... which is just that... a jam, a letting go, a venturing out into possibility.
